Project Manager in Fintech

Yandex has its own payment engine and its own billing system. Payments for all our services pass through them. Connecting a new service requires a lot of time and resources, and the number of services has been growing more and more in recent years.

We are expanding the team that develops solutions to scale our payment and financial systems and are looking for a Project Manager to join it.

What tasks await you

Managing the backlog of tasks aimed at expanding payment functionality You will be responsible for clarifying requirements for the payment service with internal customers and related departments and creating specifications for its improvement. You will need to gather a lot of information and maintain documentation of the acquired knowledge.

Consulting colleagues from other services on payments We possess the most complete expert knowledge in this area. You will participate in organizing QA during service testing, interact with acquirers, and help internal customers, related departments, and external partners resolve technical, financial, and legal issues related to payment processing. You will optimize all processes and make our customers happier.

We expect you to

• Have worked in a similar position for at least two years
• Understand metrics — what they are and why they are needed — and can devise your own
• Understand how internet acquiring works
• Thoroughly gather customer requirements for a task and do not rest until you fully understand them
• Are capable of negotiating and achieving your goals through discussions
• Can speak the same language with developers and business representatives
