Remote Vacancy.
Twinby, a dating application, is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to lead user growth, establish an effective acquisition and retention system, and integrate marketing into the overall business strategy. You will own the full cycle: from strategy and budget to creatives and analytics, working closely with Product, CEO, and CFO.
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Budgeting, and Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Develop the marketing strategy and growth plan, aligning them with the company's business strategy.
- Manage an annual marketing budget of 100 to 150 million rubles, allocating funds across various channels (digital, content, PR, influencer) based on unit economics and seasonality.
- Plan the budget in conjunction with the CFO, monitor customer acquisition unit economics (CAC, LTV, ROMI, payback), and present investment decisions to management.
- Align marketing priorities with product growth goals alongside the CEO.
Digital Marketing and Traffic Management:
- Oversee all paid channels, with a focus on mobile performance marketing. This includes Yandex, VK, Affiliate, in-app, ASO, web-to-app. For the CIS region, this extends to international channels like ASA, Google UAC, TikTok, etc.
- Implement advanced acquisition principles: automated strategies, optimization for subscription conversions, and collaboration with creative teams.
- Launch and scale A/B tests for creatives, targeting, and landing pages; monitor CAC and payback for each channel.
- Actively seek and test new traffic channels (affiliate networks, invites, unconventional integrations) — providing freedom for experimentation.
Product Marketing and CRM:
- Manage the entire product marketing cycle: from push notifications and email communications to in-app offers and promo mechanics.
- Take ownership of the existing CRM marketing: fine-tune funnels, segmentation, and trigger sequences for retention and upsell.
- Build a unified, seamless flow for all marketing interactions with the user — ensuring acquisition, activation, retention, and reactivation function as an integrated system.
Content, PR, and Influencer Marketing:
- Define the content strategy and editorial policy: SMM, visuals, and texts — ensuring a consistent brand voice across all channels.
- Lead the reorganized PR department: develop a media plan, prepare press materials, manage reputation, and handle crisis communications.
- Develop the influencer marketing initiative: select bloggers, negotiate deals, oversee integrations, and evaluate their ROMI.
- Utilize your network to arrange collaborations with other services and brands — this is your additional growth lever.
Analytics, Metrics, and Decision-Making:
- Ensure the development and implementation of marketing analytics: end-to-end reporting, cohort analysis, dashboards for key metrics (CAC, LTV, ROMI, payback, D30, conversions).
- Establish an attribution and campaign effectiveness measurement system to understand the real contribution of each channel.
- Analyze launch results, formulate next steps based on data, and initiate further research (surveys, in-depth interviews) to identify growth opportunities.
- Track marketing's impact on revenue and ARR growth, integrating marketing data into overall business reporting.
Team and Leadership:
- Build and develop the marketing team (content, digital, PR, influencer, analytics), implementing work standards, forecasting, and post-campaign analysis.
- Initiate marketing changes and experiments, updating the strategy as market and user insights are gained.
- Inform related teams about goals and campaigns, ensuring cross-functional synchronization.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience leading marketing functions at the Head of Marketing/Head of UA/CMO level — with direct budget management of 100 million rubles annually and responsibility for measurable business results.
- Deep expertise in mobile traffic sources, attribution specifics, and analytics systems (we use AppsFlyer).
- Relevant experience specifically in B2C mobile product marketing with a subscription model — understanding how marketing impacts LTV, conversion to payment, and retention.
- Successful experience in finding and scaling new traffic channels (not just standard platforms).
- A well-developed network for collaborations and partnerships.
- Ability to demonstrate personal contribution to key metric growth: what you changed, the effect achieved, and how.
- Unit economics as a working tool — CAC, LTV, ROMI, payback, D30, churn in decision-making.
- Experience in building a unified marketing flow (from acquisition to re-engagement) and managing multiple areas (digital, content, PR, influencer).
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with CEOs and CFOs at the strategic planning and budget defense level.
Desirable:
- A degree in Psychology or Sociology in addition to marketing — understanding behavioral triggers and audience motivation would be a significant plus.
- Experience in Dating, Social, Entertainment, or related subscription verticals.
- Experience building marketing analytics and attribution from scratch.
- Participation in investor narratives from the marketing side.
- Experience launching a new product or vertical from scratch.
Conditions:
- Full ownership of the marketing strategy and budget, minimal bureaucracy.
- Remote work format with no location restrictions, flexible hours.
- Competitive salary.
- 28 working days of paid vacation, flexible sick pay policy.
- Opportunity to realize your entrepreneurial potential — we offer freedom and expect results.
