Build a proactive external communications system that increases brand recognition and strengthens the business reputation of the group of companies as a whole and its individual businesses — by identifying synergies, managing news hooks, and building a center of expertise.
Responsibilities:
Building an external communications center of expertise:
- Develop unified standards, guidelines, and rules for external communications across all companies in the group;
- Create and maintain a consolidated PR calendar that synchronizes activities across all business units;
- Provide methodological guidance and consulting to business teams on PR and media relations matters;
- Identify and develop internal experts and spokespeople from among the business units' top management;
Proactively identifying synergies and managing news hooks:
- Regularly monitor and proactively gather information from businesses about upcoming events, products, projects, and initiatives;
- Identify synergies: analyze the collected information to uncover cross-business news hooks, themes, and opportunities for integrated communication campaigns and mentions of key figures;
- Transform business input into media stories, publications, and commentary that strengthen the group's positioning;
Media relations and reputation management:
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key federal and industry media, bloggers, and the expert community;
- Monitor the quality and quantity of media mentions of the businesses and the holding's top management;
- Develop and implement plans to strengthen and protect reputation in crisis situations;
