Project Manager PMC (Portfolio Planning)

We are building long-term product planning and strategy processes in one of the key technology areas of the Search Services and AI business group. We are looking for a project manager who will lead several key initiatives in this area.

You will join a team engaged in portfolio planning and change management. Your main task will be to coordinate, prioritize, and successfully implement the most important business projects, turning strategic goals into concrete plans and results.

This role is at the intersection of strategy, product, and operational management, and your contribution will be visible at the entire company level.

What tasks await you

Initiative Portfolio Management You will manage and develop the portfolio planning system: from creating roadmaps and defining priorities to monitoring execution. You will work with task trackers, create dashboards and reports for portfolio management.

Change Implementation You will "sell" and gently implement significant changes in a large organization: building communications, finding promoters, working with resistance, and processing feedback to continuously improve processes.

Interaction with Top Management You will work directly with top managers (C-level): conducting customer development interviews, collecting feedback for analyzing and changing business processes, gathering necessary artifacts for project portfolio management, organizing management cadences.

Goal Setting (OKR) You will participate in developing and adapting the goal-setting methodology (OKR) so that teams clearly focus on key results and move the business forward.

Market and Metrics Analysis You will analyze the market and product metrics to challenge existing initiatives, assess their potential, and justify priorities for the portfolio.

We expect you

• Have managed a portfolio of IT projects/products for at least three years
• Have applied Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies and worked with Jira, Asana, Yandex Tracker
• Have practical experience in managing organizational change (ADKAR, Kotter)
• Have described business processes, for example in BPMN notation
• Can work with complex stakeholders, including top management (C-level), and argue your position convincingly
• Have worked with goal-setting systems (OKR, KPI) at the portfolio or department level
• Possess product management skills: analyze the market, evaluate products and build hypotheses, work with customer development, build CJM
• Understand the lean approach, have experience working with startups or tracking innovative projects
• Possess structure, analytical thinking, and data skills

Will be a plus

• Can work with financial models to assess project and portfolio effectiveness
• Have used AI tools at work: for example, automated tasks using no-code or low-code platforms, generated content or analytical reports
• Have practical experience in the role of tracker, scrum master, tribe/chapter lead, or operational development manager
• Have certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2)
• Have built processes from scratch in conditions of uncertainty
• Have built dashboards in BI systems like Grafana, Tableau, special plus for Yandex DataLens
