The online school Foxford is looking for a Head of Procurement Department who can effectively integrate ongoing changes, and make procurement processes more efficient and business-oriented.
Foxford is a product EdTech company. For 16 years, they have been providing online education for schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers. They are looking for a Head of Procurement Department to join their team. Over the past year and a half, procurement within the company has changed significantly: tenders, competitive procurement, and new requirements for transparency, reporting, and efficiency have been introduced.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement function at strategic and operational levels;
- Build and optimize the end-to-end procurement process;
- Increase the economic efficiency of procurement;
- Reduce procurement cycle times, improve SLA, and decrease operational load;
- Lead cross-functional procurement processes and build collaboration with finance, legal, accounting, IT, HR, and other departments;
- Establish a transparent reporting system, manage metrics, and prepare reports for shareholders;
- Lead the procurement team: develop expertise, hire and train employees;
- Foster a culture of competitive procurement without business losses;
- Automate processes, implement systemic improvements;
- Enhance the user experience for internal customers, make processes clear, and set transparent expectations;
- Plan procurement activities and manage the function's priorities;
- Make management decisions in conditions of change and multitasking.
What's important:
- Over 3 years of experience in procurement management (with the use of competitive procurement and electronic trading platforms);
- Experience in team management and developing expertise within the team;
- Experience in building, optimizing, or transforming procurement processes;
- A systemic view of processes and the ability to manage the procurement function not only operationally but also strategically;
- Understanding of the principles of competitive procurement, tender procedures (including understanding of Federal Law 223 and 44) and evaluation of procurement activity effectiveness;
- Understanding of contract law;
- Confident work with data, metrics, reporting, and budgets, ability to make data-driven decisions;
- Results-oriented and ability to balance quality, speed, and business needs;
- Strong communication skills, ability to negotiate with various stakeholders and build partnerships with internal customers;
- Readiness to work in a rapidly changing environment and manage change.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in leading cross-functional processes and interacting with finance, legal, accounting, IT, and other departments;
- Experience interacting with shareholder structures and preparing reports;
- Experience in automating procurement processes, working with 1C or task trackers;
- Legal or economic education, additional training in procurement.
