Professional Development Project Manager

We are looking for a head of the educational products group for hard skills development — an IT specialist who will create and develop non-standard educational solutions for Yandex employees.

Your task is to rethink the approach to professional skills development, go beyond the usual formats (courses, trainings, checklists) and implement market-oriented, innovative, and tech-driven solutions. For example, organizing events and networking: case clubs, workshops, peer-to-peer learning; developing AI products: a neuro-assistant for work environments and tools, AI coaches and simulators, automating professional networking; creating physical products: cards, workbooks, interactive materials. You will also develop educational solutions that will help employees grow faster in their profession.

What tasks await you

Educational Product Development You will create educational solutions from concept to implementation: analyze audience needs, design programs, launch pilots, and scale successful initiatives. You will also integrate AI solutions into learning, automate processes, and implement innovative approaches.

Innovation in Learning You will test new learning formats, monitor EdTech and corporate learning trends, adapt best practices to the company's needs, analyze the effectiveness of educational products, and propose improvements.

Team Management You will manage a team that develops educational products for IT professions: developers, machine learning specialists, product managers, IT project specialists, technical managers, QA specialists.

Collaboration with Teams You will interact with technical teams, HR Tech, L&D, HR, analysts, internal communications specialists, and other teams of Yandex business units. You will need to align tasks, synchronize on metrics, develop cross-functional projects, and build transparent communication processes between teams.

Coordination with Contractors and Experts You will coordinate work with contractors and internal experts, control deadlines and budget, evaluate results, present project outcomes to stakeholders, and propose strategic initiatives.

We expect you to

• Have worked in IT, EdTech, corporate training, or product development
• Have implemented projects involving a large number of related teams and stakeholders
• Know how to work with a product approach
• Can speak the same language as IT specialists, having been a representative of one of the technical professions yourself in the past
• Know how to launch projects from scratch and organize the work of a cross-functional team
• Are not afraid of responsibility, ready to take risks, build relationships
• Have a broad outlook and are curious, ready to constantly learn
• Think systematically, able to see a problem comprehensively and propose solution options
• Present thoughts convincingly and with reasoning — can package complex ideas simply and inspire with your idea
• Know English at Intermediate level or higher
