Director of Regional Sales
We are an official distributor of a premium brand of professional hair cosmetics. We are looking for a Director of Regional Sales who will be responsible for developing the federal commercial structure, achieving business performance indicators, and driving sales growth across Russia.
Key Responsibilities
Management of Federal Sales
- Development and implementation of sales strategy in the Russian Federation.
- Achievement of revenue, margin, customer base development, and market share plans.
- Sales management in 7 regions through a team of Regional Sales Managers.
- Formation and implementation of unified commercial standards and business processes.
- Development of brand distribution in the professional channel: beauty salons, networks, academies, distributors, and partners.
Business Performance Management
- Analysis of sales, key commercial indicators, and regional performance.
- Monitoring KPI achievement and making operational decisions to meet planned targets.
- Sales forecasting and participation in budgeting.
- Working with commercial reporting and analytics.
- Participation in the development of commercial policy, pricing, and trade marketing activities.
Team Management
- Leadership of the federal sales team and development of the regional structure.
- Goal setting, performance evaluation, competency development, and employee motivation.
- Regular team meetings, mentoring, and coaching of regional managers.
- Personal involvement in the development of key employees and talent pool formation.
Key Account Management
- Participation in strategic negotiations with key clients and partners.
- Development of long-term relationships with distributors and major clients.
- Collaboration with regional teams on territory development and commercial initiative implementation.
Cross-functional Interaction
- Close interaction with marketing, training, logistics, and finance functions.
- Participation in the development of marketing and training programs to support sales.
- Monitoring the implementation of commercial initiatives and evaluating their effectiveness.
Our Expectations
- At least 5 years of experience in managing regional or federal sales.
- Experience in leading a distributed federal sales team.
- Successful track record of meeting and exceeding commercial targets.
- Experience in the beauty, FMCG, professional channel, or related industries will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and commercial analytics tools.
- Experience in negotiating with key clients and partners.
- High level of leadership competencies, ability to develop and inspire a team.
- Willingness for regular business trips within Russia.
