Project Manager for the Financial Project Office of Yandex City Services

The Project Office of Yandex City Services is looking for an energetic and talented project manager. You will be responsible for developing processes and their business logic, and building financial and legal structures. You will need to identify bottlenecks and find unconventional business solutions for RideTech, Eda, Lavka, Delivery, and Experiments services – in both Russian and international projects. Experience working with AI is especially welcome.

What tasks await you

Analysis You will analyze customer business processes, collect and clarify requirements for the product, platform, and processes. Your task will be to develop and optimize financial and legal structures for launches together with experts, including finding ways to apply modern AI tools to automate analysis and data collection processes.

Prioritization You will be responsible for determining the priority of business development initiatives in a dynamic environment and helping the business team work them out. You will also create project plans and monitor their implementation, helping the team quickly adapt to changes in inputs and the emergence of new risks.

Implementation You will need to coordinate the work of teams and experts, design and implement new features in financially significant service systems. Together with a group of experts and developers, you will ensure that the launch of new projects complies with legislative requirements and accounting rules, including proposing financial and legal solutions for complex cases. The ability to use AI tools for information gathering and solution auditing is a big plus.

• Have already interacted with development teams and related departments, know how to manage discussions and document results
• Have led projects or products or participated in large projects with a large number of stakeholders
• Effectively manage your time, are responsible and pay attention to details
• Know how to set tasks, manage several projects in parallel and control all processes
• Have used AI/ML tools at work – for automation, analysis or optimization of business processes (for example, implemented solutions based on neural networks, chatbots or analytical services)
• Have a financial, legal, or tax background, understand the issues of building financial and legal structures, and understand how to properly analyze risks and build a strategy to minimize them
• Can make decisions quickly, work in stressful situations and conditions of uncertainty, and maintain focus even with a large number of parallel tasks
• Are proficient in English
• Think analytically, know how to conduct high-level business analysis of a project
• Approach work in unconventional ways, know how to solve complex problems
• Are able to express your thoughts accurately and clearly, both orally and in writing
• Find common ground with people of different professions and specialties

Will be a plus

• Have worked on international financial or legal projects
• Have personally implemented AI services or configured them for business tasks
• Have project management certifications (PMP, Agile, Lean, Scrum, PRINCE2 and others)
• Have a good understanding of digitalization trends in finance, taxes, or law
• Enjoy working in teams where a culture of feedback and self-improvement is not just empty words
