A large vertically integrated agroholding (full cycle: from field to processing and export) is looking for a Commercial Director. The staff of the department is 50+ employees.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Development and implementation of commercial strategy, maximization of profitability across all directions (crop production, livestock, processing).
- Sales: Management of sales channels (export, domestic market, industrial processing). Pricing, management of large contracts with traders and retail chains.
- Logistics: Oversight of cargo flows (road, rail, port). Optimization of delivery costs.
- Quality: Control of product quality standards at all stages (from field to client), handling of claims.
- Planning (S&OP): Coordination of sales plans with production and agricultural services to balance supply and demand.
- Team: Development of management structure, mentoring, implementation of KPIs.
- Analytics: Market monitoring, price trends, preparation of management reports for the General Director/Owners.
Requirements:
- Higher education (economics/agronomy/logistics).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the agro-industrial complex, with at least 5 years in the position of Commercial Director / Head of Commercial Department.
- Experience in strategic planning and turnover management of over 10 billion rubles.
- Deep knowledge of grain, oilseed, sugar, and vegetable markets.
- Understanding of foreign economic activity (FEA), export logistics, port infrastructure.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Successful experience in high-level negotiations and deal closing.
- Developed leadership qualities, strategic thinking, readiness to work in a multitasking environment.
