Irkutsk Oil Company (INK) is one of the largest independent producers of hydrocarbon raw materials in Eastern Siberia. The company is engaged in geological study, exploration, and industrial production of oil, gas, and gas condensate at licensed sites in the Irkutsk region, Krasnoyarsk Krai, and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the activities of subordinate employees
- Ensuring operational excellence in logistics
- Controlling the fulfillment of contractual terms by forwarders within their competence.
- Daily management of incoming and outgoing warehouse shipments
- Handling customs clearance with the involvement of customer support – ensuring smooth customs clearance in Chinese ports
- Tracking order flows and identifying potential orders, as well as managing transportation to customer warehouses
- Generating reports on domestic shipments within China
- Monitoring the return of empty containers to the delivery warehouse.
- Controlling the execution of the logistics budget (warehouse management, container return)
- Monitoring the occurrence of additional logistics costs
Candidate expectations:
- Higher technical/economic education
- Language proficiency: English and Chinese are mandatory
- At least 3 years of experience in a management position within the field (domestic and international markets)
- Knowledge of major import logistics routes from Russia to China
- Understanding of basic rules and detailed customs clearance processes
- Understanding of rules and procedures for receiving and dispatching cargo by vessels, railway cars, containers, and road transport; compiling documents for cargo acceptance and dispatch, and inventory; ethical standards of business communication accepted in domestic and foreign cultures
