Head of Marketing and Product Development Department (Electrotechnics)
About the Company and Position
Ekotech JSC is a manufacturer and distributor of electrical engineering equipment. Our product is complex, the B2B market is competitive, and we need not just a classic marketer, but a product manager ready to take on full marketing responsibility.
We are looking for a product expert who wants to manage a team, a budget, and influence strategy.
Your main task is to ensure sales growth and market share through product portfolio management and marketing strategy development.
What you will do:
Product Management:
- Analysis of the market, competitors, and current portfolio: identifying gaps and growth opportunities.
- Formation of the product assortment matrix and price lists.
- Pricing (cost price → price for the client).
- Work with vendors and factories (technical improvements, claims, certification).
- Technical consultations for the sales department and partners.
Marketing Strategy:
- Development of a comprehensive marketing strategy (brand architecture, target audience segmentation, USP).
- Formation and control of the marketing budget and ROMI.
- Competitive monitoring.
Lead Generation and Communications:
- Setting tasks for the team regarding contextual advertising, SEO, SMM (professional social networks), email marketing.
- Organizing participation in exhibitions and conferences.
- Control of content creation: infographics, case studies, articles, catalogs, webinars.
Analytics:
- Implementation of end-to-end analytics (CRM + GA4/Metrica).
- Calculation and analysis of KPIs (ROMI, CAC, LTV, NPS).
- Preparation of reports for management on the impact of marketing on sales.
Team Management:
- Management of a department of 4 people (setting KPIs, training, motivation).
- Cross-functional interaction with sales, production, and service departments.
We expect from you:
- At least 3 years of experience in the B2B electrotechnical industry (equipment, cable support systems, switchgear, lighting technology, or similar). This is critical.
- Experience in product management: assortment management, working with vendors, technical documentation.
- Understanding of unit economics: pricing, CAC, LTV, profitability.
- Management experience (formal or informal: project management, mentoring). Readiness to manage 4 people.
- Analytical skills: Advanced Excel, CRM experience (Bitrix24 or similar).
- Basic understanding of digital tools: what context, SEO, SMM are (to set tasks, not to configure manually).
- Web analytics skills: Yandex.Metrica / GA4 (goal setup, report reading).
