Chief Executive Officer in an IT company
An IT company (custom development/system integration) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer.
Strategic Goal:
Business scaling — revenue growth from 600 million rubles to 5 billion rubles in 3 years, maintaining an EBITDA margin of at least 20%.
Responsibilities:
- Enterprise & B2G Sales (Main Focus): Personally closing large deals (from 300 million rubles) in the corporate and public sectors. Monetizing personal network, public presence in the market.
- Working with Shareholders (BizDev): Assigning tasks to the Board of Directors to leverage their connections for presales and high-level lead generation.
- Profitability Management (P&L): Controlling contract economics. Maintaining an EBITDA of at least 20% by managing rates, utilization (bench), and cash flow.
Scaling Production, Partnerships, and M&A:
- Expanding production capacity for exponential sales growth.
- Developing a partner network (subcontracting) for rapid resource needs fulfillment.
- Implementing M&A strategy: Active participation in attracting additional financing for deals (starting from 2027), searching, evaluating, and integrating small, specialized IT teams for inorganic growth.
Requirements:
- BU Head / Director of a large department from leading IT integrators (managing P&L from 1 billion rubles).
- Top-tier KAM / Client Partner who closed deals worth 300–500+ million rubles and was responsible for the profitability of the client portfolio.
- Managing Director / Partner (MD) of a technology practice from Big4 or leading local consultancies. (Strictly from vendor-side/services, no pure in-house experience).
- Proven track record of personal IT sales with deal sizes of 300+ million rubles (Enterprise, Public Sector).
- Experience managing an IT service business or unit with revenue over 1 billion rubles.
- Flawless knowledge of financial mathematics for outsourcing/integration (T&M, Fixed Price, Utilization rate, Cost of Delivery).
- Experience participating in B2B/B2G tenders and understanding the mechanics of complex procurement.
- Experience in attracting financing and working with deal structuring (will be a strong plus).
- Market Face: Status and weight in the market, ability to represent the company at the highest level.
- ROI-driven mindset and strictness: Intolerance for inefficiency. Readiness to make tough personnel and project decisions to achieve profitability targets.
