EdTech company MAXIMUM Education is seeking a Commercial Director for the Maxitet College Business Unit.
Four years ago, the company launched the Maxitet college. Currently, over 1500 students are enrolled in its campuses across 7 cities and online. The company has created a modern college that teaches relevant professions. Its operating principles include preparing graduates for the realities of the labor market and a focus on practical application. To achieve this, students undertake internships from their first year, study AI from their first year, and the company provides a job placement guarantee, stipulated in the contract. Maxitet is not an ordinary college; it's a place where industry professionals train market-demand specialists, boldly implement new disciplines into programs, and are not limited by state educational standards. This division grows significantly every year, and the company is looking for a business leader who can amplify this growth. In the upcoming year, the company will open the college in 3 more cities and launch a separate business division with its own specializations.
Responsibilities:
You will be at the epicenter of Maxitet College's development, responsible for its growth and financial success.
Strategic Scaling of the Division:
- Development and successful implementation of a scaling strategy for the "Maxitet College" educational division.
- Planning and execution of expansion: opening representative offices/branches in 3 new cities in addition to existing ones.
- Launching and developing new promising business areas within the college, expanding the institution's profile and attractiveness.
Ensuring Planned Enrollment:
- Development and implementation of effective marketing and PR strategies to attract applicants.
- Achieving planned enrollment targets for secondary vocational education (SVE) programs.
Development of Innovative Programs:
- Initiating, planning, and implementing IT programs for schoolchildren at the college, building a talent pipeline and increasing the college's attractiveness at early stages.
Financial Responsibility:
- Full responsibility for the business unit's financial performance: meeting targets for revenue, profit, and margin.
- Budget management, cost control, and optimization of financial flows.
Team Building and Development:
- Hiring, training, motivating, and developing a high-performing sales team and other commercial unit employees.
- Creating a results-oriented sales management system.
Requirements:
Seeking a leader with strong commercial vision and proven experience, ready to take on the challenge:
- Successful experience in leading commercial divisions/sales departments for at least 3 years in a dynamic, preferably educational or related field (e.g., B2C services, SaaS, FMCG with a distribution focus).
- Experience in building and optimizing business processes in commercial directorates from scratch or during scaling. You must be able to create a functioning system.
- Deep business development strategy skills: Ability to form long-term plans aimed at ensuring sustainable profit and exponential growth, with a clear understanding of the market and competitive environment.
- Experience and understanding of the specifics of the educational business (desirable, but willing to consider candidates with outstanding results in other B2C sectors).
- High leadership qualities, systems thinking, result orientation, and ambition.
