Business Development Manager for the Agency Channel
95 million people use Yandex Maps, Navigator, and Metro every month, and Yandex services with multi-million audiences, such as Yandex Food, Lavka, Delivery, Taxi, and others, operate on the technologies of mapping services. Our team is developing Maps as an open platform to make it as convenient as possible for users to plan their lives in one place.
You will develop the sales of display advertising in Maps through advertising agencies. Your goal will be to identify growth points, develop relationships with agencies, conduct training, and support deals both with agencies and large clients. This role sits at the intersection of sales, project management, and strategic development, where your analysis and negotiations directly impact the experience of millions of users and the development of one of Yandex's key products.
Market Analysis and Strategy You will analyze how processes are structured, what growth opportunities exist, and what can be optimized. Based on this, you will formulate a strategy — proposals for developing the direction, including an assessment of the main growth points, quick wins, and a system for agency motivation and incentives. You will present the plan to internal teams. Working with data and trends in display advertising development on Maps will be the basis for decision-making.
Business Development You will become the main point of contact for advertising agencies regarding the product, and for the Maps team — regarding agencies. Tasks include training Yandex agency managers and partners, assisting in the preparation of sales materials for advertisers. You will also join joint meetings and strategic negotiations with agencies to help address objections and bring complex deals to closure.
Coordination of the Direction's Work You will monitor sales dynamics, set and defend plans, analyze their fulfillment, and search for areas for additional growth. Based on this data, you will adjust your strategy for working with partners, select priorities, and initiate process changes.
