🦊 Context about the team and role
The sales department has several areas, each tied to Foxford's educational programs: home schooling, supplementary education, vocational training, programming courses, etc. The team has 2 types of managers:
- The Head of Sales (ROS) directly manages the team of sales managers and is responsible for people management: development, team budget, adherence to department regulations, financial metrics – plan fulfillment, CR for the department.
- The Head of Department is responsible for sales development. The Head of Department's task is to provide the sales department with everything necessary for effective work: scripts, product training, funnels for different channels. The Head of Department works closely with marketing, business, and product: seeks new sales funnels and channels, coordinates launch dates for new products, researches market best practices and implements them in the team.
We are looking for a Head of Sales Department who will take on the tasks from the previous point. The key metrics for which the Head of Department is responsible are: deal CR → payment, AOV, department sales plan.
Tasks in more detail:
- Regular analysis of sales plan fulfillment: reasons for under- and over-fulfillment of indicators, identifying growth points independently and with cross-functional teams (business, marketing, product).
- Preparation for new project launches: creating funnels in AmoCRM, setting tasks for technical specialists and analysts, planning customer journey logic, scripts, and emails, finding ways to sell new products and sell in new funnels; coordinating offers with the business, monitoring metrics and analyzing results. Fulfillment of the launch plan.
- Market and competitor research, identifying best practices, implementing improvements in their department.
💫 Who we are looking for
Most importantly: we are looking for a candidate with strong sales expertise. Our ideal candidate profile: a Head of Sales who has slightly outgrown their role or wants to shift their focus from team management to sales development from a different angle. More details on who we are looking for:
- Experience: at least 3 years in a Head of Sales position or another similar management position in sales: it's important for us that the candidate understands the logic and stages of sales (knows how to make a sale independently), and can use and configure a CRM system for sales. Experience in edtech/IT/SaaS will be a big plus.
- You can analyze the sales funnel, know the key metrics (CR, AOV, CPS), and can assess deviations from the plan based on data.
- You can analyze competitors, evaluate their sales technology, offers, USPs, and can generate and test hypotheses for metric growth in your department.
- Bonus points: project management skills.
- Strong communication skills: you will need to work closely with cross-functional teams and the Head of Sales of your department, present and justify ideas, solutions, and hypotheses.
