WineWood Moscow is looking for a boutique hotel manager who will take full responsibility for the hotel product — from economics and occupancy to the quality of stay and the personal experience of each guest.
WineWood is not a classic city hotel. It is a complex of mansions on Krasnaya Presnya, combining a boutique hotel, the Cépage restaurant, spaces for private and business events, gastronomy, and its own cultural environment.
Therefore, we are looking for not just a strong hotel operator, but a hotel owner, capable of making a stay one of the reasons to return to WineWood.
What you will do
- be responsible for the daily operational activities of the boutique hotel;
- manage Front Office, Housekeeping, and all services that affect the guest experience;
- control occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue, and operational efficiency;
- manage the room inventory, rates, and sales channels in collaboration with the commercial team;
- develop the share of direct bookings and repeat guests;
- monitor OTAs, ratings, reviews, and the hotel's online presence across digital channels;
- build a personalized guest journey — before arrival, during the stay, and after departure;
- work with feedback and transform it into concrete product changes;
- formulate and control service standards;
- personally work with difficult and VIP guests;
- recruit, train, and develop the team;
- manage schedules, payroll, and departmental efficiency;
- control the condition of the room inventory, technical issues, and housekeeping quality;
- work with the budget, P&L, and regular management reporting;
- find additional revenue streams within the hotel product;
- integrate the hotel with the Cépage restaurant, WineWood events, and other complex services;
- create offers that encourage guests to visit WineWood not just for an overnight stay, but to experience a specific scenario.
What we offer
- an independent management role with direct influence on the product;
- a small boutique hotel instead of a cumbersome corporate hotel structure;
- the opportunity to change processes, standards, and the hotel product itself;
- work within the developing hospitality complex WineWood Moscow;
- close interaction with the restaurant, event direction, and other WineWood products;
- the opportunity to implement your own ideas and test them quickly in practice;
- a competitive income level;
- a fixed component + motivation linked to the hotel's results.
Who we are definitely NOT looking for
We will not consider someone for whom hotel management primarily involves:
- checking checklists;
- creating schedules;
- responding to reviews;
- adhering to formal standards;
- waiting for approval for every decision.
All of this should work flawlessly, but it is the basic level.
We are looking for a person who can view the hotel as their own business and their own home simultaneously.
In your application, please briefly describe:
- What kind of hotel you managed and what results you were responsible for.
- What metrics you managed to improve.
- What you would study first upon joining the WineWood boutique hotel.
- Which hotel project in Russia or worldwide you consider a benchmark for product quality — and why.
