An engineering company Energiya Kholoda is looking for a Head of Sales Department.
Energiya Kholoda is a manufacturer of industrial refrigeration: chillers, cooling towers, absorption machines, refrigeration systems. 20+ years on the market, own factory, projects for nuclear energy and large industrial facilities.
About the role:
- Launching a new sales department within an existing commercial system. This is not "just another Head of Sales", but a leader-integrator who will build and bring the department to planned targets using ready-made regulations, CRM, and company methodology. Important: without conflicts and cannibalization with three existing departments.
Who they are looking for:
- An intrapreneur. A person who is ready to personally sell, build a team, and negotiate with colleagues. Respects existing rules but knows how to adapt them for the new department — only through agreement, not "for themselves".
Responsibilities:
- Launching and bringing the sales department to planned targets.
- Managing a team of 8 managers: setting goals, planning meetings, call reviews, funnel and CRM metrics control.
- Personal B2B sales: full cycle of complex technical deals — from lead generation to contract and support.
- Negotiations with decision-makers: directors, chief engineers, designers, procurement officers.
- Delineation of responsibilities with existing departments: segments, territories, products.
- Hiring and onboarding of managers, quick ramp-up of new employees to independent work.
- Sales plan planning and decomposition, funnel and metrics management (conversion, cycle length, average check).
- CRM discipline, reports, dashboards, forecasts.
- Cross-functional interaction with management and related departments.
Requirements:
- Higher education.
- 3+ years of experience, including in a leadership position in B2B sales.
- Proficiency in CRM, analytics, funnel building, and reporting.
- Skills in negotiating with decision-makers, personal sales, team hiring, and onboarding.
- System thinking, financial literacy, results-orientation.
- Diplomacy, flexibility, stress resistance, mentoring.
Personal qualities:
- A leader-integrator with an entrepreneurial spirit. A diplomat and a system manager. Able to work in conditions of launch and uncertainty while maintaining systemicity. Not a micromanager, but a mentor and strategist.
Conditions:
- Employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
- Flexible 5/2 schedule — negotiable.
- Business trips across Russia.
- Payment terms are discussed individually with the final candidate.
- Success criteria during the probationary period:
- Fulfillment of the new department's sales plan.
- Absence of conflicts and cannibalization with existing departments.
- Adherence to unified work standards.
- Scaling of best practices.
- Demonstration of managerial competencies and leadership.
Who is not considered:
- Focus on "heroism" instead of systemic thinking.
- Lack of understanding of the specifics of a long B2B sales cycle.
- Inability to work with data and lack of financial literacy.
- Weak skills in cross-functional interaction and internal influence.
- Micromanagement and inability to develop a team.
Additional bonuses:
- 13th salary for office employees if personal and company goals are met.
- Voluntary medical insurance after six months of work.
- Comfortable lunch area, coffee machine.
- With minor indispositions, you can work from home for two days while maintaining full salary.
- Entertainment events (summer/winter).
- Table tennis and intellectual games right in the office.
- Bookcrossing.
- Large, free parking right at the office.
- Sushi party/pizza when signing a major contract.
- Massage chair for employees.
- Possibility of undergoing sessions with a psychologist.
- Partial reimbursement of sports activities expenses.
- Corporate volleyball.
- Within project activities, employees can receive a group bonus for implementing significant initiatives (e.g., opening a new direction, launching a product or office).
- Opportunity to participate in the "Declaration" project — mentoring, joint trips, and gaining valuable experience directly from the company founder.
- Participants of complex projects receive cash bonuses, commendations, training certificates, and corporate gifts (gadgets, gift cards).
- "Refer a friend" bonus.
- Bonus for covering for a manager.
- Payment for training courses.
- Salary indexation according to the market.
- Possibility of additional bonuses (bonuses for ideas, interesting photos/videos).
- Compensation for fuel costs when using a personal vehicle for business purposes.
- Financial assistance for childbirth, marriage, loss of close relatives.
- Bonus for mentoring.
- Corporate taxi (use during business trips instead of public transport).
- Gifts for employees' children for New Year.
- Opportunity to participate in a leadership development program.
- Bonus for finding an error in the company's work and proposing measures to prevent future errors.
- The company has a internal currency, which is awarded for work anniversaries and special achievements and allows purchasing branded goods (merch) in the corporate store.
Hiring process:
The interview is conducted in 2 stages:
- Stage 1 - online interview.
- Stage 2 - in-person interview with the Deputy General Director for Sales.
