VGK is the largest coal mining holding in Sakhalin and one of the largest Russian exporters of brown coal to countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The company uses digital production twins, its own PULSE system, real-time analytics, automation, and AI as working tools.

Here, HR work directly impacts production: whether people will come to work for a shift, whether the equipment will operate, whether managers will cope, and whether the business plan will be met. The company is launching projects that are changing the company and even the industry a little, for example, the "Girls Rule" project with a 130-ton pink BelAZ — it won gold at the HR-brand Award 2025 and the Grand Prix at the Employer Branding Awards 2026.

A strong HRD with experience in:

• Building an HR function from scratch or deep transformation
• Working with production/blue-collar personnel
• Developing systems for motivation, evaluation, and corporate culture
• Managing payroll, budgets, and HR metrics efficiency
• Implementing large-scale changes — quickly, flexibly, and effectively

To be honest upfront: it won't be easy. The pace is high, there are many tasks, and results are needed quickly. But the scale here is something you rarely encounter in HR.
