The streaming service KION Music is looking for a Business Development Director.
KION Music is a music streaming service with an extensive collection of tens of millions of tracks. The team is in the process of transforming its strategy and product with a focus on audience growth, retention, and monetization.
The team is seeking a Business Development Director who will be one of the key drivers of change: launching new strategic initiatives, testing product and business hypotheses, and managing a portfolio of projects and a team of project managers. The role involves close collaboration with product, marketing, analytics, editorial, technology, and commercial departments, as well as interaction with KION's top management.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the KION Music strategic project portfolio;
- Leading a team of project managers;
- Developing and implementing business development initiatives;
- Identifying new growth opportunities for the product, audience, and revenue;
- Conducting business analysis, financial assessment, and preparing business cases;
- Organizing the work of cross-functional teams;
- Monitoring roadmap execution and KPI achievement;
- Preparing materials for company management;
- Managing external and internal partners within projects;
- Coordinating the launch of new products, services, and directions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing strategic or cross-functional projects;
- Experience leading a team of project managers;
- Strong project/program management skills;
- Experience in building business cases and financial models;
- High level of analytical thinking;
- Ability to structure complex tasks and deliver projects to completion;
- Experience interacting with C-level executives;
- Presentation and initiative defense skills;
- Experience in digital products, ecosystems, media, streaming services, or BigTech will be a plus.
