Oleg Sirota's Istra Cheesemaking Factory is seeking an Operations Director to manage all processes from raw materials to sales, with a focus on improving economic efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of operational strategy in line with company goals
- Planning and optimization of company resource utilization in each area of activity
- Management of production and operational processes
- Management of production load and planning of production volumes, considering seasonality, cheesemaking capacity, and cheese aging requirements
- Implementation and control of key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, overall equipment effectiveness, defect rate, and fulfillment of quality product output plans
- Analysis of production capacity load during the launch of new product lines
- Influence on the development of sales channels
- Organization and control of work in production departments, warehouse, logistics, supply chains, and sales channels
- Control of product quality and safety, reduction of defects, losses, and risks in production
- Optimization of logistics from production to finished goods warehouse and sales points
- Process optimization and digitalization, identification and implementation of opportunities to increase productivity
- Development of technical and technological base, participation in the justification and implementation of new equipment, technologies, and packaging solutions
- Identification and minimization of operational risks
- Preparation of regular reports for the CEO and business owner
- Analysis of deviations from plans and corrective actions
Candidate Requirements:
- Higher education (economics, management, food industry technology)
- Experience as an Operations Director in food production (dairy/cheesemaking is a plus), managing the full cycle (from raw materials to B2C/B2B sales)
- Skills: process optimization, working with ERP/CRM, budgeting, working with retail
- Leadership qualities, analytical mindset, results-oriented focus
