at MassPers, an AI Enterprise Management System Developer
MassPers, a developer of an AI enterprise management system, is seeking an Operations Director.
This position is for an existing Operations Director who is not actively seeking employment. If that's you, let's get down to business.
About the Product:
It's the "company's second brain." It runs on a separate computer within the enterprise, without internet access. Tasks are assigned verbally, and the system integrates data from all company departments — 1C, telephony, documents, correspondence, cameras — identifying where the company is losing money, with documentation supporting every figure.
For a production holding with seven sites and two hundred distribution centers, direct optimization resulted in savings of 4-7 million rubles per month within two months. One discovery was an entire cost category that wasn't being charged to 308,000 units of production over a quarter, and this went unnoticed for years because the final results fell within acceptable tolerances. The system is used in 20 regions, in government projects, ministries, and factories. Client names are disclosed during meetings, not in the announcement.
Why the Company Needs an Operations Director:
The best integration occurred when a client's operational manager worked alongside engineers. The manager identified areas to focus on, and the team figured out how to calculate the impact. Engineers can connect everything; only someone who has managed an enterprise themselves knows what's important and what to present to the owner. This role is being brought in-house.
What You Will Do:
Translate the enterprise's pain points into the language of the system: collaborate with engineers to decide which data to connect, which findings count as results, and how to calculate the economic effect in a way that the client's CFO will approve. Manage two to three integrations concurrently. A typical client involves multiple sites, with 1C software and telephony. The telephony is often unmonitored, and the CRM is underutilized. You have experience with such companies from the inside.
First Three Months:
Financial Accountability:
The variable part of compensation is tied to successfully completed integrations: the implementation act plus confirmed economic effect for the client. The bonus structure is discussed during the meeting—it's significant and not detailed in the announcement.
Who We Are Looking For:
Three or more years of operations management experience in physical process-oriented businesses: manufacturing, logistics, retail chains, construction. Provide three examples of solutions that saved money or generated revenue, including figures and how you calculated them. Knowledge of AI is not required at all; the product will be demonstrated, which takes about a week. What's required is something that can't be taught in a week—an understanding of how an enterprise truly functions, not just according to regulations.
About the Company:
For five years, the company has been providing mass personalization solutions for government entities: operating in 20 regions, serving ministries and departments. The system evolved from these projects. The commercial enterprise-focused division is launching now, and you will be instrumental in building it, not just maintaining an existing structure.
Selection Process:
One in twenty candidates are selected. Three stages: brief, substantive correspondence; access to a work portal with the product and case studies; an in-office meeting where you will work with the system itself on a computer. No logic tests or assessments. Decisions are made quickly, and feedback is direct, for both parties.
