Platform Development Lead / Head of Platform Development Direction

Description

We are looking for a team member who will, on one hand, help establish and launch the customer interaction process within the platform build and Golden Path design framework, and on the other hand, organize the work of platform and product teams for their implementation.

This is project-based work aimed at building relationships between business units and the platform. The task is to establish a process for collecting, analyzing, and implementing the needs of service teams from tribes regarding DevOps, release management, and QA on the platform.

The candidate must be able to work under conditions of uncertainty, typical for large internal projects, structure customer requests, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Ability to understand and describe current business problems and requests
• Skill in preparing structured documentation in a language understandable to both business and platform engineers
• Ability to manage expectations and build relationships with both external customers and internal platform product teams. Capability to balance the interests of a large number of process participants, each operating within their own context
• Experience moderating stakeholder meetings, ability to manage discussions and drive them to results even in the face of contradictions between participants. Confident public speaking and concept defense skills in front of management. Ability to "sell" an idea by demonstrating its value
• Deep coding knowledge is not required, but an understanding of development logic and the product lifecycle is important
• Understanding of Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and Golden Path concepts: what they are and why they are needed for business and development.
